Academic Senate ============ =====
The highest body at the TUHH, also made up of student representatives.
General Students' Committee
The AStA represents the student body by implementing the resolutions of the Student Parliament and managing the day-to-day business of the student body on its own responsibility.
“General Provisions of the Study and Examination Regulations for Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes” - This contains the basic regulations for all degree programmes at the TUHH.
Building N
Catalogues of non-technical supplementary subjects that must be taken in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Block 1 focuses on business administration and law, Block 2 on the humanities (sociology, art, culture, etc.).
Computational Informatics
European Credit Transfer System
Describes the time spent on a module over the entire semester. One credit point should correspond to approximately 30 hours.
Electrical Engineering
The entirety of all students at a university who study the same subject, e.g. student council IIW at the TUHH. Often used as a false synonym for the student council or its office.
Student Representative Council
The subject-specific representation of students' interests. Often called “Fachschaft” for short and incorrectly.

Orientation Unit
The first week of the winter semester with introductory events for first-year students.
They regulate which activities you have to complete in the industrial placement and for how long, whether vocational training is recognised as a partial substitute, that you have to prepare a report and a few other things.
Examination board
Committee that determines examination dates and decides on examination results, appeals, recognition of work completed abroad, etc.
Semester hour per week
A course with one semester hour per week takes place every week for 45 minutes.
Overview of the modules to be taken including recommended semesters, examination type, language, ECTS and institute.
E-learning platform where materials, announcements, a forum and more are provided for most courses.
Student Parliament
The StuPa is the highest decision-making body of the student body, which in particular decides on the student body's statutes and budget and elects the members of the AStA.
Dean of Studies Committee
A very important committee that decides on everything to do with teaching.

If the Examination Board rejects a student's objection to an examination result, the WA meets to make a final decision.
