Welcome

Moin, moin (as we say in Hamburg)! You are on the website of the student representatives of Department E, the german abbreviation is FSR ET/IT. If you study Microelectronics and Microsystems, Information and Communication Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Technomathematics or if you're interested in any of these courses of study, you're in the right place.

The currently elected student representatives are shown at Members. Our representatives sent to other student committees and their meeting dates you will find at Committee Work.

Have you been to one of our events and found yourself in a situation that made you feel uncomfortable? Send us an anonymous message and our awareness team will be happy to take care of it.

Apartment Hunting

If you just arrived in Hamburg, you may need help finding a place to live. The Student Union can help you with this. There are lots of Dormitories in Hamburg, three of them in Harburg. You can apply here. If you need any help, you can either contact people from the student union or write our primary for international affairs at felix

You can get our calender at iCal or get it here as an import Google-Kalender.

News

Barbecue / Anpunschen

On November 14, the time had come for the last barbecue of the year at the pond. Of course, we also had our first mulled wine. We spent a really great day with you in the best and, above all, driest November weather for as long as we can remember.

95th BuFaTa ET

The 95th Federal Student Council Conference for Electrical Engineering took place from October 30 to November 2. Student councils from all over the German-speaking world travel to this event. This time we met at the CAU Kiel. There were two of us there and we discussed many different topics with the others, from appointment committees to student finances and student council parties. Of course, we won the city rally through Kiel.

Halloween nerdBar

Our first regular nerdBar of the semester took place on October 29th. Fittingly, there was a Halloween special. We got spooky at the costume competition and sipped spooky and scary drinks.

Orientation unit 2024

As we do every year, we welcomed the new first semester students to the TUHH in the third week of October. With many different events from games evening to a handcart tour to the nerdBar, we had lots of fun events to make new contacts. But the university and its great and treacherous sides were also highlighted during the campus tour and the StartING kick-off. The first contact with future lecturers was made at the PubQuiz. At the end of the week, some of the first semester students went to a secret destination for a weekend. We had a lot of fun during the week and wish everyone a good start to their studies!

Student Orientation 2024

Soon the winter semester is starting and with that new students will join TUHH. If you are interested what your first week is going to be like, have a look here: Freshmen Week 2024

Summer GameING 2024

As in previous semesters, we once again hosted our traditional LAN party. This time, couch gaming stole the show and the LuK was a lot more crowded than the multipurpose room. With a baking check, mobility test and great juices from TK, everyone was able to do something for their health between games. We are already looking forward to the upcoming Winter GameING!

BauStröms - Summer Party

This year we tried something new in cooperation with the FSR BaU: The BauStröms Party! Two dancefloors with DJ, cocktails and a contingent of free beer and live broadcast of the Germany vs Denmark European Championship game. Unfortunately, however, the game put a spanner in the works. We still had a lot of fun presenting the event to you and let's see which events we'll try out next summer.

Sommerfest (Summer Fair) 2024

This year, the nerdBar once again had a cocktail booth at the TUHH Summer Festival on June 12th, again in a prime location directly opposite the stage, where we expanded our well-known and proven menu with a few summer festival specials. Even the rather mixed weather couldn't spoil our mood and we are already looking forward to the next summer party with you and hopefully even more summer!
